Which underfloor heating manifold do you need? There are many different types of manifolds you can choose from for your underfloor heating. Underfloor heating manifolds are made of stainless steel (stainless steel), plastic or steel . But which one do you need for your underfloor heating? And what's the difference between these manifolds? We're happy to explain! Below, you'll find an overview of all the manifolds with explanations.

Stainless steel distributor
A stainless steel manifold can be used not only for heating but also for cooling the floor. This stainless steel manifold is specifically designed for low-temperature systems (LT systems). A stainless steel manifold is corrosion-resistant, and its robustness is a major advantage. Because of its material, this manifold can also be installed in damp areas. In terms of operation, it's not much different from a plastic manifold.
The Open premium stainless steel distributor Consists of separate elements that can be mounted to the wall using a mounting bracket. This manifold includes an adjustable flow meter that allows you to regulate the water flow per group. The open premium stainless steel manifold is available for 2 to 15 groups.
Plastic distributor
A plastic manifold is made of fiberglass-reinforced polyamide and double-walled modules. This prevents condensation, makes it rust-free, and makes the manifold highly resistant to most glycol mixtures. It can also be used to cool the floor in addition to heating. A plastic underfloor heating manifold is often a single piece and very robust. The risk of leakage is minimal.
The compact professional plastic distributor It is modular and equipped with a very quiet, energy-efficient Grundfos ALPHA2 L pump. This manifold also features adjustable flow meters, a temperature gauge, and integrated valves. Actuators can be installed on these valves. This compact plastic manifold is a closed manifold for high-temperature systems and is available for 1 to 15 groups.
The Open premium plastic distributor is an open manifold for low-temperature systems and is available for groups of 2 to 15. The manifold consists of plastic elements connected with a threaded rod. It is therefore modular. This premium open plastic manifold features adjustable flow meters, a temperature gauge, and automatic air vents.
The professional plastic district heating distributor is a manifold for underfloor heating systems that use district heating. It has a modular design and is equipped with a quiet and energy-efficient Grundfors ALPHA2 L pump. This manifold also features a temperature gauge, adjustable flow meters, and dual-adjustable group valves. It is a closed manifold available for 1 to 15 groups.
Steel distributor
A steel manifold is made of steel. This type has a higher risk of condensation. Steel manifolds are designed for high-temperature systems and are not suitable for cooling rooms.
The standard steel front distributor This pre-assembled steel manifold features dual adjustable group valves to which actuators can be connected. It also features overload protection, allowing for precise temperature control. It is compact and easy to install. The standard steel front manifold is equipped with a Grundfors ALPHA2 L pump and is suitable for high-temperature systems. It is available for 1 to 15 groups.
The standard steel distributor This pre-assembled steel structure includes a supply and return bar. The manifold has dual adjustable group valves, to which actuators can be connected. It is also equipped with an energy-efficient Wilo Para HU25/7-50/SC pump. Furthermore, this manifold features overload protection, allowing for precise temperature control. This closed manifold is available for 1 to 15 groups.
