Energy-Saving Pump Switch: By default, the water in an underfloor heating system is continuously circulated, regardless of whether the heating is active or not. Using an automatic pump switch prevents this. This means the circulation pump runs less frequently, saving you energy costs.

How an automatic pump switch works

The automatic pump switch is equipped with a clip sensor on a cable approximately 3 meters long. The clip sensor is placed on the supply line to the manifold. If the supplied water temperature is higher than the set temperature, the circulation pump switches on to heat the water. As soon as the supply temperature drops below the set temperature, the circulation pump switches off again.

For proper operation, it's important that the clip sensor makes good contact with the hot water supply line. The clip can be bent manually, making it easy to install on virtually any pipe diameter.

The Eco Pump Switch HY-02 pump switch is exclusively for switching circulation pumps on underfloor heating manifolds. The automatic pump switch must not be used for any other purpose.
